GameGune 2011 announced

After some months of silence, the organizers behind the Spanish tournament by excellence have announced the information for the event to take place next month in Bilbao’s Exhibition Centre (BEC), as usual, with a total of €22,500 up for grabs, just as last year.

The only setback of the tournament, if we can consider it as such, is that the amount of teams has been reduced from 28 to just 16 teams, which will be entered into a group, from where they will proceed into a single elimination bracket.

The 2010 edition was won by the Swedish side  Fnatic, who will most probably be in attendance this year, although the only confirmed team to date is the Ukrainian side Na’Vi, who today confirmed their participation.

The detailed prize distribution is as follows:
1. €12,000
2. €6,000
3. €3,000
4. €1,500
