Lincoln “fnx” Lau, considered as one of Brazil’s biggest talents has decided to hang up his mouse, as he is leaving his Counter Strike career behind, to focus primarily on his personal life.
This news come just 2 months after he decided to join up with Brazilian team Gamerhouse, but with his retire, Brazil’s Counter Strike has taken a deep hit.
Lau helped MiBR win ESWC in 2006, which can for sure be considered as the greatest victory everr by a Brazilian team abroad, helping them secure a good 4th position at the 2007 edition.
In one of his latest stints, Lau was seen playing for the US based organization compLexity, with whom his best achievement was a 5th-6th position at the 5th Intel Extreme Masters World Championship.
In what can be considered as great news for Brazilian CS, Lau has stated that he will be opening an academy with 2 other well known Brazilian players.
