Today Reason management announce the departure of Reason Gaming Portugal, who will return to the sister organization, Rasta-Gaming.

The Portugal line up have had a tough time in recent events both online and at lan, with some disapointing results that could have ended up going either way. With the recent results not being as high as hoped for, the desicion to move the team to Rasta-Gaming was a hard choice but ultimately is the best for both the team and Reason Gaming.

Adam Heath, Managing Director of RNR-eSports had this to say about the move:

“This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do in my esports career. Over the years I have kicked a handful of teams, but always for an attitude issue, never based on skill or performance. The difference in mentality of running Reason to what is done in Rasta is mind-boggling. The Portuguese guys are some of the friendliest and down to earth people I have met in esports, and in real life who have proven in the past that they can perform at the higest level in Portugal, but have just fallen on hard times the last couple of events. I am just fortunate we don’t need to say goodbye to them completely and we have the option of keeping them on under the Rasta-Gaming brand!”

We wish the team all the best in their continuing career within Rasta-Gaming and are privileged to have worked with such a nice bunch of guys.
