On Friday the 11th of April Reason Gaming’s journey through the promotion tournament came to a close, unfortunately talking the 4th place and missing out on a chance at facing a current LCS team for a slot in the League of Legends Championship Series.

The Semi Finals took place on Thursday, as our team faced off against Ninjas in Pyjamas. Our head to head record is very much in their favour and unfortunately this has not changed. The first game was a perfect sweep from NiP as their experience shined through and they managed to finish the game without handing over a single kill or objective. The second game went much better for the Reason crew but the Ninjas in Pyjamas still managed to dominate the map and take the series 2-0.

With the path to first place firmly closed, RG went into the 3rd place match on Friday for a final spot against Denial eSports. Overall a much closer series than the previous day, but each game was a victory for Denial eSports, leaving them to take the win 3-0.
Reason Gaming unfortunately failed to win a game during their time in Cologne, but the team has vowed to practise even harder to improve for the next set of qualifiers.
