Europes finest CS:S coverage site, Cadred.org, have conducted a preview on next weeks European ESWC Qualifier. ESWC Takes place during the Paris Games Week on October 21st – 25th. The top 4 teams from the qualifer will be provided with an invite and free entry to the event.

‘The potential challengers to the Danish crown will be looking to show the rest of Europe what they can do, and the expectation is high. Featuring some of the best players Denmark has ever produced they will be disappointed with anything less than a top four finish in this tournament, especially given how hard they have been practicing in recent weeks. Their first major test was the i43 online qualifier and they came through it with flying colours, earning a spot at the event. Sadly without an organisation they were unable to attend the tournament which means we’ve yet to see them tested at a competitive LAN environment.’

That leaves 4 spots available via the qualifier for the 12 team tournament. It looks certain to be 2011’s best event!
