Reason Gaming one of the oldest and most respected Esports organisations in the UK, has announced its comeback to the competitive scene of Counter-Strike 2 (CS2). Reason Gaming have been around for the past two decades, and are not stopping there, with a new lease of life – Reason Gaming management team have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to create a space for players that feel welcomed, included and mentored to become the best that they can be.
“We are very excited to welcome this talented and motivated squad to our organisation,” said Adam Heath, the Managing Director of Reason Gaming. “We have been following their progress for a while and we believe they have what it takes to compete at the highest level of CS2 here in the UK and Europe. We are confident that they will make us proud and bring glory to the UK Esports scene!”

The team captain, Alex Byfield, expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm for joining Reason Gaming. “It’s a fantastic feeling wearing the Reason jersey; an origination synonymous with Counterstrike. It’s about time that it returns to its British roots and fights to bring back U.K Counterstrike to the forefront. The immediate goals of the team is to focus on domestic competition leading up to the summer: Epiclan, Insomnia and UK Masters. International events such as Fragadelphia are on our bucket list for later in the year!”
Reason Gaming was founded in 2003 and has been one of the pioneers of the UK Esports scene. The organisation has competed in various titles, such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Counter-Strike: Source, Dota 2, League of Legends, and StarCraft II. Reason Gaming has won multiple championships and awards, including the ESL UK Premiership, Insomnia, and Gfinity.
Reason Gaming’s new CS2 roster will make its debut on February 22nd at Epic Lan in Kettering, UK.
