Reason Gaming can today confirm that we have parted ways with our Counter-Strike team with immediate effect. Talks had been scheduled to take place around extending the roster’s time under the Reason banner, but after several disappointing LAN and online performances, it became clear that there was too large a gap between what the players were asking for and what we were prepared to provide. This decision was not taken lightly.
We recognise the time, effort, and commitment that the players have given throughout their spell with us, and we want to thank them for representing the Reason badge during this period. The results may not have matched expectations, but we put our faith in this roster.
As an organisation, our priority remains to build competitive rosters in environments where both the players and the club can thrive together. While this chapter comes to an end, we wish the outgoing roster the very best of luck in their future endeavours, and we hope to see them continue their journey within the Counter-Strike scene.
Reason Gaming will continue to explore future opportunities within Counter-Strike, and we look forward to sharing our plans with our community in due course.
