In a group of four and knowing that only a top two spot would mean progression to the knockout stage of the tournament, Reason went into their first game full of confidence. Their first game was against GamingGear.EU, a team that had progressed to the prize bracket via the BYOC qualifier beating LowLandLions in the process, so easing into the competition was out of the question. Reason came out of it on top, Beating the Lithuanian outfit in convincing style.

Their second game was against the hotly tipped side Heimerdinger’s Colossi, and unfortunately for Reason, Heimerdinger’s showed their class taking the match leaving it all to play for in the third and final game against the European outfit, Eternity gaming. With Eternity Gaming fielding ex LCS players and some of Europes finest Reason knew it was a crucial match, a win would guarantee them a semi final spot and a loss would send them crashing out of the tournament prematurely. After a hard fought game Eternity emerged the victors sending Reason home. While the outcome may have not been favourable Reason have learnt a lot from their DreamHack experience and will be working hard online to come back to the next DreamHack stronger than ever.
