EMS Season IX playoffs started earlier this month, with our team managing to reach the 1/4 finals where they would face CKRAS after beating the Germans from TBH.Asus in 1/8 finals with a 2-0 score.
The match was a highly anticipated one, as both our team and CKRAS are tipped to fight for the title of best Danish team in 2012 alongside Copenhagen Wolves, apart from that, both our team and CKRAS were clear favorites to take home the title for this 9th edition of ESL EMS.
First map of the night would be de_season, where our team would post a great show showing why they are one of the favorites to take home the tournament win, completely destroying their rivals in the 1st half as T, ending 14-1. 2nd half would see our team suffer for the first rounds, but would eventually see our team securing the 1st map 16-8.
Second map would be de_train, a map picked by our rivals, and it wouldnt take us long to realize why they had chosen that map, as we suffered the whole 1st half, a half that would eventually end 12-3 in favor of CKRAS, but, our team didnt give up and, after a great 2nd half we were able to witness a great comeback, as our team managed to take home the map 16-14 and the whole match 2-0.
This means our team is now ready to fight in the semifinals, where they will fight either French side XOXO or Danish rivals Copenhagen Wolvees. You can check the brackets here.
